2026 Big Rock

The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament is one of the most competitive billfish events in the country. Held annually in Morehead City, North Carolina, the 68th edition runs June 5–14, 2026, with six days of fishing and a purse that rewards both weight and release performance. The 2025 field set a tournament record with 420 billfish released and more than $6.3 million paid out. Black Book has vessels positioned in the Carolinas for tournament season — and has competed at Big Rock week, including a top finish in the Keli Wagner Lady Angler Tournament, which opens the week on June 5. If you want to fish Big Rock on a privately owned, tournament-caliber boat with a crew that knows how to compete, this is where to start.

The 62' Winter is a cold-molded Carolina boat — built for this fishery, by the people who know it best. Privately owned, captain-maintained, and tournament-rigged, she will be positioned in Morehead City for Big Rock week. The crew has competed at this level. The boat is set up to win.

Big Rock is the centerpiece of the Morehead City season. The Christopher Perri Memorial and HVOO run in May. The Big Rock Kids Tournament and Ducks Unlimited Band the Billfish follow in July — all fishing the same North Carolina blue water.
