The Hatteras Village Offshore Open is the opening event of the North Carolina Billfish Series and one of the most respected tournaments on the East Coast circuit. The 32nd Annual runs May 12–16, 2026 out of Hatteras, North Carolina, where the Gulf Stream pushes closer to shore than anywhere else along the Eastern Seaboard. Boats are on blue marlin, white marlin, and yellowfin tuna faster here than nearly any other port on the coast. If you want to fish the HVOO on a privately owned, tournament-rigged vessel with a crew that knows this fishery, Black Book has boats positioned in the Carolinas for tournament season.
HVOO availability is limited and slips at Hatteras fill ahead of the tournament. Inquire early.
