The Christopher Perri Memorial Billfish Tournament is a catch-and-release billfish event held annually out of Big Rock Landing in Morehead City, North Carolina. The 5th Annual runs May 6–9, 2026. Founded in honor of Christopher Perri, a Morehead City native and avid angler who passed away in January 2021, the tournament raises funds for AML research at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The field is competitive and the fishery is the same water that produces results at Big Rock every June. If you want to fish the CPM on a privately owned, tournament-rigged vessel with an experienced crew, Black Book has boats positioned in the Carolinas for tournament season.
