The Hatteras Village Offshore Open (HVOO) is set to celebrate its 31st annual tournament from May 13 to 17, 2025, in Hatteras, North Carolina. As the inaugural event of the North Carolina Billfish Series, the HVOO has a rich history of attracting anglers eager to experience the exceptional fishing opportunities off the Outer Banks.

Participants can fish any three out of the four available days, with fishing hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on May 14-16, and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on May 17. The tournament emphasizes conservation through its release format for billfish species, including blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, and spearfish. Anglers also compete for prizes in game fish categories such as tuna, dolphin, and wahoo.
