Christopher Perri Memorial Billfish Tournament

The Christopher Perri Memorial (CPM) Billfish Tournament is an annual event dedicated to honoring the legacy of Chris Perri, an avid outdoorsman and passionate angler who lost his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in January 2021. The tournament's primary mission is to raise funds for AML research and to share Chris's love of fishing with the next generation through the CPM Kids Tournament.

Proceeds from the event contribute to an endowment in Chris's name at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, directly supporting AML research, patients, and providers. In 2023, the CPM Board of Directors proudly donated $20,000 to this cause, reflecting their ongoing commitment to making a meaningful impact in the fight against leukemia.
