The Cove

The Cove’s Annual Billfish Tournament is a fishing tournament for a cause, a celebration of sport, community, and coastal tradition on South Florida’s waterfront. This beloved annual event brings together anglers, families, and supporters for two days of high-energy competition and waterfront festivities, held February 4–6, 2027 in Deerfield Beach. The event proudly supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County (Jim & Jan Moran Club), with 100% of proceeds helping provide life-changing programs for local youth.

Tournament weekend begins with a lively Kick-Off Party at The Cove, with registration, a captains meeting, and a Welcome Cocktail Party featuring cocktails, light bites, and a chance to connect with fellow anglers before tournament day. The excitement continues with a full day on the water, fishing from Hillsboro Inlet and Boca Inlet, followed by the official tournament weigh-in on the dock. The evening closes with a cocktail party and an Awards Ceremony and Banquet Dinner at The Cove, honoring anglers with trophies, recognition, and a celebratory dinner.
