The Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament is the second leg of the South Carolina Governor's Cup Billfishing Series and the oldest billfish tournament in the state. The 58th Annual runs May 20–23, 2026 out of Georgetown Landing Marina in Georgetown, South Carolina. The fishery here is defined by the Georgetown Hole — a well-known offshore feature that consistently produces blue marlin big enough to hit the scales, drawing competitive programs from ports up and down the Atlantic coast. For teams building points in the Governor's Cup, this is a critical stop on the calendar. Black Book has vessels positioned in the Carolinas for tournament season. If you want to fish Georgetown on a privately owned, tournament-rigged sportfish boat with a crew that competes at this level, this is where to start.
