Big Rock Ladies
The Keli Wagner Lady Angler (KWLA) Tournament is one of the largest ladies-only billfish tournaments globally, held annually in Morehead City, North Carolina. The 27th annual KWLA is scheduled for June 7–8, 2024, featuring a one-day billfish release competition that emphasizes conservation and camaraderie among female anglers.
The event kicks off on Friday, June 7, with a Lady Angler Event from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crystal Coast Civic Center, featuring a Best Dressed Contest, food, drinks, and a DJ. Fishing takes place on Saturday, June 8, with participants competing for various prizes in billfish release and gamefish categories. The KWLA Tournament also supports charitable causes, with proceeds benefiting local cancer treatment centers.
