A two-day, all-release billfish tournament based out of Jupiter, FL, drawing top crews from across South Florida during peak sailfish season. The event uses video catch verification and awards points for released billfish, with additional meat-fish weigh-ins.
Dates & Schedule (2025)
- Captain’s Meeting: Wed, Feb 26, 2025, 7–9 PM — Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa.
- Fishing Days & Hours: Fri, Feb 28 & Sat, Mar 1 (teams must fish both days). Lines in 8:00 AM, lines out 4:00 PM. Boats may not leave inlets before 6:30 AM.
- Awards: Sun, Mar 2, 2025, 7–9 PM — Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa.

Tournament Boundaries & Check-in
Fishing boundaries run 27°40.00’ N (Ft. Pierce Inlet area) to 26°20.00’ N (Boynton Inlet area) and no farther offshore than 079°40’ W. Boats must leave and return from Jupiter, Stuart, Palm Beach, or Ft. Pierce.
Format & Scoring
- All-release billfish with video verification (card/word of the day; footage turned in by 6 PM at designated locations).
- Points: Sailfish 100 (live bait) / 150 (dead bait); White Marlin 300; Blue Marlin 500. Ties broken by earliest time to point total.
- Meat-fish weigh-in (JIB Club, 3:30–5:30 PM): kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, cobia, tuna — heaviest overall qualifies.
