The Huk Big Fish Classic is an overnight offshore tournament held annually out of Ocean City, Maryland. The 13th Annual runs July 24–26, 2026, with a kickoff party on July 23. The format is unlike most events on the summer calendar — teams choose a 32-hour window, either Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday, competing for the single heaviest qualifying fish from the Atlantic. Blue marlin, white marlin, tuna, wahoo, mahi, and other qualifying species are all in play. The 2026 purse reaches a new record of $1.25 million. Weigh-ins take place nightly at Talbot Street Pier with the field running from New Jersey to Virginia. Black Book has vessels positioned for the Ocean City tournament window. If you want to fish the Big Fish Classic on a privately owned, tournament-rigged sportfish boat, this is where to start.
