Custom Shootout
The Custom Shootout is an exclusive, invitation-only sportfishing tournament scheduled for May 14–17, 2025, at the Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour Marina in Abaco, Bahamas. Limited to 50 custom inboard boat teams of 32 feet or larger, this all-release event assembles one of the most elite fleets of sport boats, representing premier custom boat manufacturers. Participants compete not only for prestige but also to support various charitable organizations, including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, IGFA, and Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital.
The tournament features three days of fishing, with daily schedules from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and includes social events such as dinners and cocktail gatherings. The event kicks off on Wednesday, May 14, with registration and a captain's meeting, followed by fishing days from May 15 to 17. Each evening concludes with a rum punch dock greeting, fostering camaraderie among participants.
